Pure Actives' Coenzyme Q10 Powder 98% (Ubiquinone) is a highly purified, oil-soluble antioxidant coenzyme naturally found in every cell of the human body, where it plays a critical role in mitochondrial energy production and cellular protection against oxidative damage. In cosmetic formulations, CoQ10 functions as a potent lipophilic antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals in the skin's lipid layers, reduces oxidative stress-driven collagen degradation, and energizes skin cells to enhance their natural repair and renewal processes. Skin CoQ10 levels decline significantly with age, making topical supplementation a scientifically validated approach to anti-aging skin care.
This ingredient is intended for cosmetic use only. Not for internal consumption. CoQ10 will impart a yellow/orange tint to finished formulations — account for this in your formulation design. Always conduct a patch test before use.
Dissolve in the oil phase of your formulation at 0.05–0.3%. CoQ10 is oil soluble — pre-dissolve in a carrier oil or emollient before adding to your formulation. Note: will impart a yellow/orange tint to finished products. Suitable for anti-aging serums, facial oils, antioxidant moisturizers, eye creams, and photoprotective formulations.
