Pure Actives' Marshmallow Root Extract Powder is a finely milled botanical active derived from the root of Althaea officinalis, a plant long celebrated for its exceptional soothing and moisturizing properties. Rich in mucilaginous polysaccharides, this cosmetic-grade powder forms a protective, hydrating film on skin and hair, making it an ideal addition to sensitive skin formulations, scalp treatments, and conditioning hair care products.
This ingredient is intended for cosmetic use only. Not for internal consumption. Always conduct a patch test before use in finished formulations.
Add to the water phase of your formulation at 1–5%. Disperse in water before combining with other ingredients. Suitable for facial serums, toners, moisturizers, shampoos, and conditioners for sensitive skin and scalp.
