Clear Xanthan Gum is a highly refined, low-colour grade of xanthan gum specifically processed for cosmetic applications where clarity and aesthetics matter. Unlike standard xanthan gum, which produces hazy or opaque gels, this clear grade yields transparent to near-transparent gels — making it the preferred choice for clear serums, essences, toners, and gel formulations where visual clarity is a product requirement.
Produced by fermentation of Xanthomonas campestris, xanthan gum is a natural, biodegradable polysaccharide that functions as a rheology modifier, thickener, and stabilizer. It provides excellent suspension of particles and actives, and is stable across a wide range of pH and temperature conditions.

Pre-disperse Clear Xanthan Gum in glycerin (1:5 ratio) before adding to the water phase to prevent clumping. Alternatively, sprinkle slowly into water under high-shear mixing. Allow 15–30 minutes for full hydration; heating to 60–70°C accelerates the process. Use at 0.1–1% in finished formulations. Add electrolyte-containing ingredients after the gum is fully hydrated.
Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from moisture, light, and heat. Refer to your COA for confirmed shelf life.
