I use this preservative im a number of formulas. The quality is very good. Haven’t had any spoilage. I would like to see the expiry date on the bottle or at least on the website though.

Description
INCI Name
Polyquaternium-11
CAS Number
53633-54-8
Product Description
Polyquaternium-11 is a cationic film-forming conditioning polymer used to improve slip, manageability, anti-static performance, and style support in haircare and cleansing systems. It forms clear, non-tacky films that condition without excessive buildup and can also enhance sensory feel in select skin and body products. High-Viscosity Concentrate (Cosmetic Grade)
Important: This grade is not the thin “regular” version
This product is supplied as a high-viscosity concentrate, so it will look and pour much thicker than many commonly sold Polyquaternium-11 solutions (which are often offered pre-diluted). High viscosity is normal for concentrated Polyquaternium-11 solutions.
Concentrated yield (why 2 oz goes further)
Because this is a concentrated, high-viscosity grade, 2 oz can be diluted to make up to 16 oz of a working solution similar to what many customers buy elsewhere (final dilution depends on the thickness/concentration you want to match).
Example working solution:
2 oz concentrate + 14 oz distilled water = 16 oz working solution
How to Use (customer-friendly)
Option A — Use as-is (concentrate)
Add directly to your formula during the water phase or cool-down (best practice depends on your system). Polyquaternium-11 is commonly used in shampoos, cleansers, conditioners, gels, sprays, and styling products.
Option B — Pre-dilute for easier measuring
To make it easier to handle and measure, pre-dilute into a “working solution” using distilled water. Mix slowly to reduce bubbles and allow time for full blending.
