Zinc PCA

Zinc PCA is the zinc salt of L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (PCA). It combines zinc, a mineral valued in cosmetic formulation for its astringent and deodorizing support, with PCA, a component of the skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF). Together, they help visibly reduce excess surface oil, support a more refined look in oily areas, and offer light skin-conditioning benefits in leave-on and rinse-off products.

Zinc PCA is water-soluble, easy to incorporate at low temperatures, and works beautifully in serums, gels, toners, lotions, spot treatments, and deodorant formats designed for oily or combination routines. It’s also a favorite in scalp care where lightweight formulas are preferred.
